Picked up a box of gourmet macarons in Paris my last day there at
Pierre Hermé. Just had them today with the fam and they were amazing.
So many unexpected combinations of flavors...the other cakes there
also looked wonderful, but I couldn't bring myself to pay $70 for a
strawberry pistachio cake, even though it looked awesome!

had a nice romantic walk to notre dame after dinner last night with my buddy jason...last time i was here they were cleaning ND and had scaffolding over the front of it. looks much better now...
